Counted Cross Stitch Patterns of Historic Savannah Buildings
A Sampling of Savannah's Architecture!
This cross stitch pattern includes a Colonial Row featuring some of the earliest houses still standing in Savannah and a River Street and City Hall Row illustrating Savannah's famous waterfront.
This counted cross stitch pattern also includes other sampler rows which represent facade designs taken from buildings all over the Savannah historic area, with the outer borders depicting lovely wrought-iron railings found in Savannah. There are even dolphin downspouts, a historic Savannah building tradition, in each corner!
Colonial Row and River Street and City Hall Row can be stitched separately, in segments, for paperweights and bookmarks. You can also add a special date and your name ("Wrought by...") to this sampler pattern in the second and next to last rows using an alphabet 5-7 squares high (alphabet not included). The cross stitch model was stitched on 16-count Sage-colored Aida cloth.
The counted cross stitch pattern includes color code for DMC cotton floss. It also includes a sizing chart for 11, 14, 16, 18, and 22 count fabrics. Embroidery details enhance the counted cross stitch.
