Counted Cross Stitch Patterns of Historic Savannah Buildings
The King-Tisdell Cottage was built in 1896 by W.W. Aimer, a mill owner. This historic house is notable for the unusually intricate gingerbread ornamentation of the porch and dormers in a style of whells and spindles thought to be unique to the building.
The historic building was moved to its location on Huntingdon Street in 1980. It is now a museum dedicated to the preservation of the African-American history and culture of Savannah and the Sea Islands.
