"Holly & Nick" Stockings by Karen Oliver

"My daughter and son-in-law have Christmas names - Holly and Nick (even though neither of them were born in December) - so your pattern was just what I was looking for to make them stockings. I had the St. Nick fabric which I wanted to use and planned to use holly fabric. When I saw your pattern, I knew that would be perfect." Karen's from Willowbrook, Illinois and her home quilt store is QuiltFabric.com.

Pink Tote by Sidney S. Brand

"The Tailored Tote pattern is great for people who have an embroidery machine," says Sidney.  "I've even included a bonus layout in the pattern to aid in centering a motif." This purse was made with designs from the Bernina embroidery card Things with Wings.  "It was a perfect present for my stepmother, who loves pink!" finishes Sidney.

Anniversary Signaturesby Kathy Padgett

Kathy adapted Signatures & Memories to make a wonderful 50th Anniversary gift for her parents. She substituted a 10" photo square in the center for 4 of the signature blocks, adding four "Easy Corners". "My husband printed the photo from our computer on specially treated fabric," says Kathy. "and I found the perfect 'golden-tone' fabrics for their golden anniversary!" Kathy will take the quilt top to the party for guests to sign, then finish the quilt with a shiny, golden-colored thread.Click here for pattern.

"Struck Out" by Anita Bowen

A Real Winner!! Third place in the Small Quilts, Pieced division at the Quilters of South Carolina exhibit at the Aiken County Historical Museum. The judge, a hand-quilter and appliquer, commented that she loved the color play and the pattern, which she'd like to make herself.

Anita's 15-year-old son named this quilt and now all his football buddies want one! She made this quilt using 12" blocks. What a great idea she had for the sashing, especially in those colors!

"Thank you for a wonderfully fun pattern," says Anita, from Columbia, South Carolina. Pattern: Shirts-Shirts-Shirts. Click here for pattern.
