"Struck Out" by Anita BowenA Real Winner!! Third place in the Small Quilts, Pieced division at the Quilters of South Carolina exhibit at the Aiken County Historical Museum. The judge, a hand-quilter and appliquer, commented that she loved the color play and the pattern, which she'd like to make herself. Anita's 15-year-old son named this quilt and now all his football buddies want one! She made this quilt using 12" blocks. What a great idea she had for the sashing, especially in those colors! |
