2) Cut accent border 1-1/2" x pieced top measurement. Sew to pieced top.

3) Cut 3-1/2" flange pieces to fit (cut two sets). Miter corners if desired. Sew one set to accent border.

4) To make an "envelope" back, cut two pieces of background fabric 16" x 20-1/2" (width of unit from Step 3 x (half the length + 2") . Hem 16" (shorter) sides. Overlap hemmed edges to match front top (not including flange pieces). Pin and treat as one piece. Sew flange pieces to edges. (Flange pieces are attached similar to a border).

5) Sew front to back of pillow, right sides together.

6) Turn right side out and press. Machine stitch in ditch between flange and accent border.
